Vibration control and data acquisition system

State-of-the-art vibration control and data acquisition system with a modular scalable architecture. Features simultaneous control of up to 8 shakers at a frequency of 0.1÷35 kHz, an LCD screen, and calibration functionality.

RL-C21 is a powerful multi-purpose device for vibration testing, data acquisition, and hardware calibration. 
The features of the system include:

  • Flexible configuration. Fully determined by the user and tailor-made for your needs. 
  • Scalability. The system can be easily scaled up to 8 devices in one network, allowing you to get up to 32 input and 8 output channels. 
  • High level of shaker protection. All calculations and safety checks are run by a DSP directly in the controller.
  • MEMS & MIMO capabilities. The system can simultaneously control up to 8 two- and three-axis shakers, as well as vibration shakers with up to 6 degrees of freedom.
  • Break protection. Galvanic isolation in the input chains allows effectively protecting input chains from breaks.
  • Calibration options. Calibrate transducers, shakers, and microphones — all in one box. 

RL-C21 is used with a specialized vibration test software package VisProbe SL & VisAnalyser.

How to mount accelerometers

To provide high accuracy of vibration measurement, the usable frequency and dynamic range must not be limited as a result of incorrect mounting of accelerometers. One of the basic requirements for correct sensor mounting is close mechanical contact between the accelerometer’s base and the mounting surface. To achieve it, you can use a wide range of various special applications for mounting. However, it is not that simple.

Multishaker tests have recently gained popularity for tests of large objects, which cannot be placed on one shaker, or for simultaneous vibration impact on the object on several axes. This approach allows imitating the actual vibration conditions of operation more closely.
