Will the software remember my channel and shaker configurations?

The shaker and sensor parameters are saved in the specialized shaker database and sensor database. Having entered the features once, you can upload all the necessary parameters from the databases with a single click.

Do I need different software versions for RL-C21, RL-C21M and RL-C25?

No, the software package is identical for all vibration controllers. 

What are the system requirements for the PC to be able to work with TestUP?

The minimum requirements are:

  • Processor Intel Core i3 or a similar one
  • Discrete video card
  • Memory capacity not less than 4 Gb
  • Ethernet connection not less than 100 Mb/sec
  • Screen resolution not less than 1600 to 900 pixels
  • OS starting from Windows 7
Where can I get a software update?

On our website in the Downloads section. Please mind that to get an update you would need to log in. Without logging in, you can only get access to our demo software. 

What formats can I use to generate an automated report?

Reports can be created in .doc, .docx, .rft, .pdf. To make the reports, the program can utilize Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, LibreOffice or WordPad packages.

TestUP does not see my device
  1. Confirm that the device is turned on and that you see RULA logo on the screen
  2. Check the connection of the Ethernet cable to the device and PC
  3. Check if you have Windows Firewall or antivirus enabled — both of them cause connection problem, so consider disabling them at software startup.

What test settings does TestUp save?

TestUP saves all test settings, shakers and sensors configurations, graphs, and calculations made during the test.

You can also make a backup copy of the program by choosing the option “Backup and restore” in the menu.
