One of our customers in China contacted us with a project: they needed a vibration testing system to check how the railway’s operating environment influences the equipment. For this purpose, RULA China offered to perform a series of vibration tests on the rolling stock using a multi-axis shaker system and an RL-C25 controller to simulate the normal vibration environment.
The controller identification algorithm is based on the computation of the transfer-function matrix. This approach allowed the user to control both vibration and rotation, generating an extensive report about the condition of the equipment and its possible fatigue.
