The reliability of turbine engines is essential in the context of aircraft safety. Turbine blades work under harsh climatic and environmental conditions. That’s why the accumulation of fatigue, which causes deformation and cracks over time, is unavoidable. To address this issue, RULA engineers conduct turbine blade fatigue testing to investigate and enhance the materials and designs of these blades. 

In this webinar we share our experience in fatigue testing and:

  • Discuss the differences between sine resonance search and fatigue test
  • Perform live fatigue testing session using different sensor types, like laser vibrometer and velocity sensor
